Due to the tragic collapse of the Clinton Elks Lodge Building on the square Monday evening, June 26th, all events, that had been scheduled to be on the square, have been moved to the Clinton High School area, 6th and Clinton Streets. The carnival, all vendors and crafters, along with the stage and entertainment areas will be located on the high school football field, practice field and parking area. As this is the 100th Anniversary of the Elks Lodge in Clinton and they are a major part of this years' event, we want to continue on, in their honor, and hold this annual event which recognizes our veteran's and honors our country.
All event dates and times will remain the same. Location is the only thing that will change.
- Main Stage with evening entertainment events and prize drawings will be on the Football Field
- Entertainment Stage will be located east of the Football field.
- Carnival will be in the Parking Lot
- Food and Craft Booths will be on the Football Field.
- Information Booth will be at the Concession Building.
- V.I.P. Room will be in Trailer #6, nearest the High School
- The Art Show and the Quilt Show will be at the Middle School Gymnasium
- The Show Your Wheels Car Show will be at the Clinton Technical School.
- Downtown DeSoto, the Henry County Museum and the Dorman House will be open downtown as scheduled.
The Grand Parade will be held on Saturday, July 1st as planned. The parade route will be changed for this year also. The parade will begin at the usual location of 2nd and Clinton and will then go south on 2nd Street.
