Andrea Warren Coming to Clinton
Wednesday, March 1, 2006
Henry County Library is bringing author Andrea Warren to Clinton on Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Ms. Warren is the author of
Surviving Hitler and Escape from Saigon. These books, about a boy who survived the Nazi Death Camps and a Vietnam orphan who was airlifted out of Saigon in the last days of the Vietnam War, portray young people who are caught up in historical events.
We would like to invite you to bring your Middle School Students (grades 6, 7, and 8) to hear accounts of history written through the eyes of the young people who were it’s participants.
Ms. Warren will speak at 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm at the Clinton Rotary Building on the Clinton Square. Please contact the Henry County Library to make your reservations for free tickets for one of Ms. Warren’s presentations. We have only 100 seats available at each presentation, so call 885-2612 or toll free 1-866-CALLHCL as soon as possible.
Andrea Warren’s books will be available for purchase that day. For more information about Ms. Warren and her books visit her website at
