Paper Recycling

The Quad-Lakes Solid Waste Management District is collecting paper for recycling in the Henry County Library parking lot, 123 East Green Street, on the west side of the library, west of the railroad tracks.

The recycling truck will be there the first Tuesday of every month, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon (or until the tryck is full) and the following Wednesday, also from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

Paper does not need to be sorted. The following types of paper are accepted.

Office paper, computer paper, copier paper

Colored office paper, envelopes, junk mail, bills

Newspapers, paperback books, hard cover books with covers removed

Magazines, catalogs

Scheduled dates for 2008 are: Wednesday (only), January 2, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 5-6, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 4-5, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1-2, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 6-7, and the 1st Tuesday of the month and following Wednesday thereafter.
