Paper Recycling

Press release from Kaysinger Basin Region Planning Ccommission / Quad Lakes Solid Waste Management District:

Mobile Paper Recycling Truck

Due to an overwhelming increase in our paper collection and recycling efforts, Kaysinger Basin RPC has decided to identify an alternative location for collecting paper in and near the City of Clinton. Effective July 1, 2009 the paper recycling truck will no longer collect paper at the Henry County Library parking lot on the 1st Tuesday and 1st Wednesday of every north from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We have teamed up with the City of Clinton and citizens will now be able to drop their paper off at the city's transfer station, located at 1401 N. Washington St. in Clinton. Citizens may drop their paper off anytime from Tuesday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This change will result in more convenience to the citizens and an increase in the amount of paper that is collected and recycled. Should you have any concerns/comments/questions, our contact information is below. Thank you for particpating in our paper collection and recycling efforts.
