Rose Veach
|
|
Rose Veach was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri, and retired from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she worked in the Accounting Department. Her hobbies include researching genealogy, flower gardening, collecting antiques and traveling. She also enjoys baking cookies for her 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also involved in home schooling her grandkids. For the past four years she has been working with her grandson who is now at the 11th grade level. Rose finds the library an enjoyable place to come, discover new authors, locate items for her grandchildren and research materials for her home school lessons. She also finds the library employees to be a cheerful and helpful group. Traveling to other countries, perhaps Ireland or revisiting Italy would rank high on her list of future activities. Mostly she looks forward to enjoying time with her grandchildren, watching as they grow, graduate and marry. |
