- September 28: Clinton Theological Seminary opens, in the old Baird College buildings. It was supported by the Seventh Day Adventists.

1911
- January: The west wing of the old Franklin School is condemned.
- February 5: State Capitol burned.
- February 17: Clinton Post Office opens in its own building, at the southwest corner of 2nd & Franklin. Previously it had occupied rented quarters.
- March: $60,000 bond issue for new high school and ward school in Clinton is appproved.
- August 11: Bonds voted for new Capitol.
- October: Cornerstone laid for the new Clinton High School.
- December: The Larrabee Flour Company acquires the old Banner Mills, at 5th & Mill Street, in Clinton.

- Holy Rosary Academy opens, in the old Clinton Normal College building.

- State Highway Department created.
- Royal Booth starts the Booth Hatchery with a 200-egg incubator.
- March 17: State Flag adopted.

- Dr. N.I. Stebbins opens a hospital on the 2nd floor of the Elsner Building.

1915
- Dr. Stebbins purchases the old Jordan home at the corner of Orchard and Ohio and moves his hospital to the new location.
- J. C. Penney's opens store in Clinton, on east side of square.
- June 24: Cornerstone of new State Capitol laid in Jefferson City.
- October 2: Massive celebration at Clinton to commerate the last payment on the railroad bonds.

1916
- Missouri troops sent into Mexico after Villa, under command of John J. Pershing.

1917
- Missouri Farmers Association formed.
- A chapter of the American Red Cross is opened at Clinton.
- April 6: U.S. enters World War I.
- July 17: Home Guards organized.
- August 5: Missouri National Guard called to federal service.
- September 28: Missouri and Kansas National Guards consolidated as 35th Division.

1918
- Holy Rosary Academy becomes fully accredited as a High School.
- April: The U. S. Post Office permits the shipping of baby chicks by parcel post. Henry County soon became the center of an extensive mail order hatchery business.
- June 11: Clinton Rotary Club is organized. It received its charter June 19, 1918.
- November 11: Armistice ends World War I.
