Rule 33. PRE-TRIAL MOTIONS

33.1 HEARING DATES

33.2 BRIEFS IN SUPPORT OF MOTIONS, WHEN REQUIRED

No briefs in support of motions shall be required unless ordered by the Court, except as follows:

(1) All motions to dismiss and motions to strike shall clearly state all the known grounds for dismissal or other relief requested in such motion, and shall be accompanied by a concise brief with legal authorities for the requested relief. The party to whom such motion is directed may file a reply brief within ten (10) days. If a party desires oral argument, the request shall be made in the motion or reply, or by motion. If no request is made for oral argument by the movant or if no brief accompanies the motion, it will be summarily ruled by the Court and twenty (20) days will be granted to answer.

(2) Requests to make a pleading more definite and certain shall clearly state which portion to the pleading should be made more definite and certain and the grounds therefore. The same rules applicable to motions to dismiss and motions to strike shall apply to requests to make a pleading more definite and certain.
